Rosé of Lemberger
The fruit for this rosé was picked at the same time as our red, it was crushed and destemmed into the press and left to soak on skins for 4 hours. The juice was then pressed into stainless steel tanks to ferment and age, a small portion was also fermented in neutral oak barrels. Concentrated aromas and flavors of cherry, cranberry, red currant and herbs.
Pinot Noir
The fruit for this wine was hand picked and optically sorted for maturity and quality. Oak aged for 7 months prior to bottling. Aromas of light berry fruit and dried leaves with cherry, cranberry and spice on the palate.
Sparkling Riesling
Traditional method sparkling, aromas of brioche, flint, lemon and mushroom. Flavors of lemon curd, golden delicious apple, tangerine and baking spice.
Art Series Riesling
The iconic label on our Art Series Wines is a painting done by winery owner Ann Martini for her senior portfolio while studying art at Nazareth college in the 1960's. The Riesling in the bottle is a work of art in and of itself, spontaneously fermented every harvest to lend to that seasons characteristics. Complex fruity aromatics with a soft hint of minerality. Citrus, white flower and stone fruit on the palate with a refreshing acidity and lengthy finish.
Unoaked Chardonnay
Our Chardonnay is unoaked for elegance and true fruit expression. Post fermentation this wine rested on its lees for 5 months before being readied for bottling. Aromas and flavors of sweet apples, dry floral notes and candied citrus.
Rosé of Cabernet Franc
The fruit for our rosé is picked at the same time as our reds. Grapes were machine harvested and went direct to press without extended skin soaking in order to minimize color extraction and maximize fruit intensity. Aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry, watermelon, fresh herbs and tangerine.
Dry Riesling
Both commercial and native yeasts were employed to create many expressions of the fruit that would be used in the final blending of the wine. This wine spend 7 months resting on the lees. Flavors and aromas of crisp apple, tangerine, lime zest, floral notes and thyme.
Devonian Red
Devonian is a chapter of geological history in the Finger Lakes. Sedimentary rock from this period is the foundation of the soils in which our grapes grow and contributes to the uniqueness of our wines. The Devonian Red is a a sine that is intriguing, fruit forward and approachable. Lighter bodied and food friendly, this red is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Lemberger, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlot.
Pinot Gris
This wine rested on the lees until readied for bottle. Aromas and flavors of melon, pear, honey, apricot and citrus. Lovely texture and balance.
Cabernet Franc
Aromas and flavors of dark cherry, raspberry, earth, leather and Chinese 5 spice.
Riesling
Flavors and aromas of crisp, sweet apples, nectarine, apricot, lime zest, floral notes and pastry cream
Lemberger
12 months in neutral oak barrels. Aromas and flavors of blueberry, sherry, pomegranate and spice.
